On the corner of Chiltern Street and Blandford Street, The Hart is a classic British pub. We work with British farmers and producers, using seasonal ingredients from our Market Garden at Bruern Farms.

The Hart takes its name from the Hart family, who ran a pub on this site in the 1840s. Their legacy of good food, great drinks and warm hospitality inspired the creation of this new space.

Downstairs has the feel of a proper boozer, with British beers and bar snacks like pork scratchings, chicken liver toast and pork pies from our own butchery in the Cotswolds.

Upstairs, the dining room has an open kitchen, wood panelling, gas fires and plenty of atmosphere. The menu keeps to British favourites - crab cakes, bubble & squeak, steak and potatoes, and banoffee pie.

Like the rest of our pubs, we pour British beers including Portobello Pilsner, Allsopp’s and DEYA.

Dogs are welcome in the ground floor pub.
